Appointments can be made for all surgeries and clinics either by telephone 0191 521 2282 or, if you have access to the internet, you may find it quicker and easier to make your own appointments via the on-line booking system; this is available to you 24 hours per day. You can access these services by clicking on the Appointments or Repeat Prescriptions buttons on this page.

To access the online service you need to call in to our reception to register. You will be issued with a password which will allow you to book, cancel and print your appointment via the following link: or the before mentioned buttons on our website. WE REQUIRE TWO FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION PRIOR TO ACCESS BEING GRANTED.

You can also make appointments by calling in to the surgery and visiting the reception desk. Please try to book routine appointments a few days in advance. A receptionist will be available from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Choosing wisely and making the most of your appointment: 

The practice supports the use of shared decision making and is part of the choosing wisely global initiative. By having discussions that are informed by the doctor, but take into account what's important to the patient too, both sides can be supported to make better decisions about care. Often, this will help avoid tests, treatments or procedures that are unlikely to be of benefit.

We think it's a good idea for you to ask your doctors the following questions before any test, treatment or procedure:
