Prescriptions

Non-urgent advice: Please note

Repeat prescriptions are not taken by telephone.

They can be ordered by calling at the reception, posting, also via our online ordering system Patient Access. To read about the online service click here.

Always allow 48 hours (2 working days) for your repeat prescriptions to be ready for collection.

Any item not on your repeat medication list will need to be ordered in person at the surgery. On occasion you may be required to book a doctors appointment for medication not on repeat.

Please ask the reception staff for further advice on ordering repeat prescriptions.

Have you heard about repeat dispensing?

This scheme is available to patients who are taking regular medication and do not pay for their prescriptions.

How it works

The pharmacy of your choice will request and collect your prescriptions and you collect your medication from that pharmacy each month. This means that you do not need to come to the surgery for prescription purposes.

However, you will need to attend a 6 or 12 monthly medication review at the surgery.

Anyone interested please see a staff member to arrange.
